Cookies and local storage
Last updated 8 October 2026
Ordering and staff pages only use storage that is strictly necessary for them to work. On our marketing pages we'd also like to use advertising cookies, but only if you accept them — see Advertising cookies below.
What we store on your device
- Sign-in session — keeps you logged in if you have an account or staff login.
- Basket — remembers what's in your basket on this device.
- Table — after you scan a table's QR code, remembers which table you're at for up to 4 hours so your order goes to the right place.
- App cache — lets the site load quickly and be installed as an app on your phone.
- Staff screen settings — for staff only: which station a kitchen or bar screen shows, sound and auto-print, kept on that device.
- Demo preview — on our own websites only: remembers which demo venue or brand you're previewing, for up to 7 days.
Where you came from
On our marketing pages we remember, on your device, the page you first landed on and any advert tracking tags in its web address (such as utm_campaign or gclid). This is only sent to us if you submit the demo request form, so we know which adverts work. It isn't a cookie and isn't shared with anyone.
Advertising cookies
Only on our own marketing pages (never a venue's ordering pages), and only if you click Accept: Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) cookies that tell us when someone who saw one of our adverts books a demo. Google and Meta may also use them to show you adverts. If you reject them, or don't choose, they aren't loaded.
Card payments
When you pay by card, the payment form is provided by Stripe, which sets its own strictly necessary cookies to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy at stripe.com/gb/cookie-settings.
You can clear stored data at any time in your browser settings; you'll be signed out and your basket will be emptied. If this changes we'll update this page and ask for consent where required. Questions: brad@techficient.co.uk.
